This adorable video captures the moment a young corgi puppy first looks into a mirror and, after experiencing some initial confusion, realizes it is staring back at itself in the reflection. The dog can be seen in the clip staring at his reflection for a moment before taking a step forward and running into the mirror. It is thought that the video was shot somewhere in the United States. He then retreats and, rather endearingly, begins pawing the air from a distance as if he has no idea how to behave given the circumstances.
The dog then confidently takes another step forward before crashing into the mirror for the second time; this time, the person who recorded the video can be heard laughing. After some time has passed, the corgi appears to have accepted his appearance in the mirror and now glances around the room with composure while taking a brief rest. After then, his owner inquires, “Who is that?” The owner is talking about the reflection, and the dog suddenly comes back to life and starts growling softly.
The puppy then attempts to bite the glass and afterward lunges at it with his little head before eventually walking away from it after repeatedly pawing at it. The corgi sits down once more and looks at itself in the mirror for a moment before giving out a small yelp. His owner’s reaction is to laugh at him once more.
The clip comes to a close with the canine character becoming more active, trying to jump at the reflection, and growling loudly while simultaneously reaching his paws into the air.
