Everyone looks forward to seeing their grandmother whenever she comes to visit. Grandmas are so much joy. When mom isn’t looking, they are the ones who will load you with snacks and other delights until you are completely spoiled. The fact that grandparents and grandchildren have the same adversary may contribute to the formation of such strong relationships between the generations.
However, human grandchildren are not the only ones that have a special bond with their grandparents; furbabies do as well. And a Bernese mountain dog who was three years old and hadn’t seen his grandmother in quite some time was able to catch up with her as the family was gathered together for a celebration.
The footage shows the grandma going outside and opening the back door before entering the backyard. Augie was stunned. He started bouncing all over the place and frantically wagging his tail. He is more than happy to demonstrate to her how much he has missed her presence in his life. And isn’t it something that every single dog is exceptionally good at? This puppy may have been massive, but it was abundantly evident that his heart was much bigger.
But as soon as his grandmother closed the back door behind her, Augie turned into a puddle of goo and threw himself on the ground, waiting for his favorite person to rub his tummy. Watching this dog’s relationship with his loving and caring grandma is sweet, to say the least. When it comes to demonstrating how much they care, animals are the greatest at what they do.
