Due to Jackson’s hip dysplasia at the age of 15, one South Carolina family couldn’t stand to keep him downstairs all the time. As a result, they made a substantial investment in an elevator.
Okay, so in theory, it can only be used by one person at a time and is a standard functional elevator. To make it simpler for the homeowners as they age to access the upper floors, the elevator was added during home renovations. But for now, let’s just say that it’s a dog elevator and that it’s cute. When you’re 15 years old and the best boy ever, your parents buy you an elevator because you deserve it. Jackson needs someone to unlock the elevator door for him, thus he can’t utilize it alone. However, it does free him from the discomfort of ascending stairs to travel to wherever his family members are. Several commenters attempted to suggest that Jackson is “scared” inside the elevator, but Logan clarified: He enjoys it, and lugging him up the stairs is much more difficult. And to those of you who claimed he was afraid, he is not; instead, he adores it and dives in without hesitation.

Of course, many noted that most dog parents would find the cost of building an elevator in their home to be incredibly expensive. No, we can’t all afford to do this for our senior dogs, but isn’t it admirable that some people will decide to spend their money to make a dog’s life better?
