It should come as no surprise that this crow, one of the most clever birds, invented his version of fetch to play with his German shepherd pal. Crows are known for their cunning and capacity for problem-solving, so when this particular crow visited his friend’s yard carrying a ping-pong ball, he started playing fetch with his human companion to persuade the dog to join in the fun.
The crow creates a pleasant game that is quite similar to fetch by spearing the ball to “throw” or rather roll it. The German shepherd joins in on the action after seeing his bird companion play because he was not going to let the crow have all the fun.
The two friends first connected when the fur dad took in the young crow that had been abandoned by its parents. A few months after the crow was nurtured by him to be independent, it extended his gleaming, black wings and took off. The bird did, however, play games of fetch with his fictitious family before he departed home, which was a lovely thing to do.
The crow is wild and free, although he never wandered far and frequently goes back to see his pals. When he does, he typically brings a gift that he arrogantly snatches from a neighbor. His human dad gives him a small food as payment for his kindness before starting their favorite game of fetch. The crow follows after the ball after the man throws it, rolling it back.
It is impossible to predict where the ball will land because the bird is not Greg Maddux, but as he rolls it, he invites his adorable German shepherd companion to join in the fun. He throws the ball to the dog and waits for it to come back while squawking loudly.
It’s hardly surprising that the two intelligent animals have remained pals because the two odd companions are so adorable. They will undoubtedly continue to enjoy one other’s company for a very long time.
