After getting aboard a USPS truck and devouring the unsuspecting driver’s lunch, two rambunctious Lab siblings from Virginia were publically “shamed” on social media. Their story has gone viral since then, attracting the interest of dog parents all around the world. It all started when Carol Jordan received a handwritten message in her mailbox. Her initial response when she saw the USPS card was, “What did the boys do now?” she told CBS News.

Bear and Bull, the 6-year-old “boys,” are brothers. Jordan adopted them when they were puppies from a high-kill shelter in North Carolina. Jordan believed the mail carrier was concerned for the dogs’ well-being after reading the short message. “Hey! The message began, “I pulled up to deliver a package and both of the dogs crawled inside my truck.” “They ate an egg, some carrots, and pumpkin seeds from my meal.” Just FYI, I’m not sure if that will upset their stomachs!”

Jordan stated, “We would never have known.” “They always appear to be involved in something!” Jordan thought the dogs should be held accountable for their misdeeds, even though the mail carrier was willing to forgive and forget. “Wall of shame #weoweyoulunch,” she captioned a photo of the note on Facebook, along with a photo of Bear and Bull looking rather apologetic. The post went viral, with likes, shares, and comments from dog lovers all across the world, including Denmark, Australia, and New Zealand.

Jordan told CBS, “Most people thank us for making them laugh.” “A lot of people have said things like, ‘That’s like my dog,’ or they’ve tagged someone whose dog acts like that. Bear and Bull, with the help of their mother, bought a $20 Subway gift card and wrote an apologetic message, which they delivered to the Post Office, in an attempt to make amends with the mail carrier.

The note stated, “Sorry we ate your meal.” “Thank you very much for sharing… Thank you for leaving a note, our humans said. We were in trouble since we didn’t like the note.” Let’s hope she remembers to eat her footlong before going to the Jordans’ house to deliver mail! The cheeky boys are blissfully oblivious of their sudden celebrity, which Jordan appreciates because fame would undoubtedly get to them!
