Puppies, for the most part, are rambunctious little dogs who like playing with everyone they encounter. It’s not uncommon for older canines to be included in this. Of course, simply because of their size, larger dogs normally have an edge over puppies. That isn’t to say that young puppies don’t give it their all. It’s always adorable to see a small puppy battle toe-to-toe with a larger, older dog.
It’s pretty endearing to observe their perseverance as they try to win the playfight. Usually, the older or larger dog merely smiles and gives the puppy the “good try buddy” look.
The big vs small fight between an American Bulldog and a small Chihuahua pup – who was rather fierce despite his small stature – was one such example. It’s a “battle” that will melt your heart since it demonstrates how much this enormous dog loves and cares for his small partner.
The little Chihuahua puppy is restless in the video and begins his heroics. He is eager to participate in the game. The rambunctious puppy is raring to go, and he doesn’t seem to mind that his opponent will be an adult American Bulldog. Even though he’s three times his size, this enormous dog is nonetheless gentle. When the little pup approaches, round one is in full flow, and the big dog is just chilling on the ground, not doing much.
The calm pooch lets the little Chihuahua show off his warrior skills while softly playing along. He’s very cautious with the little dog, as evidenced by his actions. He’s trying to avoid being too tough. Isn’t that adorable? It’s an excellent example of how bulldogs aren’t as ferocious as stereotypes would have you to believe. Instead, this bulldog appears to be quite worried about the well-being of the small puppy.
The little Chihuahua goes after his tail like it’s a chew toy at one point in the video. The little puppy tugs at the end of it incessantly, but the bulldog seemed unconcerned. He keeps an eye on the puppy, as though he understands that the dog is just being a puppy.
