Good citizens in Texas discovered a shepherd mix mother and her 11 newborn puppies as strays on the streets. Thankfully, some Dallas Animal Services employees took them in, nursed them, and assisted them in finding a nice home.

When the family arrived at the shelter, however, the staff noticed something unusual about this litter. Salvadore Dolly, a 5-week-old puppy, was born with a handlebar mustache on her face. She was named after the famous mustachioed Spanish painter Salvador Dali.

Hearts & Bones Rescue shared images of the family on Instagram in the hopes of finding them loving homes. Many people expressed interest in fostering or adopting the little girl with the distinguishing marking on her face after seeing the photo.

Because puppies are at such a high danger of becoming ill in the shelter, shelter workers had to find them a new foster home. Fortunately, the shelter was able to locate a wonderful foster family in Dallas who took in the entire family.

The entire family will go to New York City in late August after the puppies have been weaned. They’ll be put in new foster homes as they look for their forever families. The entire family is relieved to have a secure environment in which they may get affection, medical care, and the attention they require.

The internet has been smitten by Salvador Dolly’s images since they went viral. As a result, we are confident that she will have no trouble finding her ideal family. Anyone interested in adopting or fostering Salvador Dolly or her siblings should visit Hearts & Bones Rescue’s website and complete an application.
