You don’t have to be a certain age to be referred to as a hero. This title is yours because of your bravery. These guys, for example, were unconcerned about anything and dashed inside the burning house to save the three pets. On New Year’s Day, two boys from Coventry, Rhode Island, Anthony Lombardi and Mario Comella, 12 and 13, were riding their bikes when they heard fire alarms from their friend’s house.
When they got close enough, they noticed smoke pouring from the neighbor’s house and discovered that the three dogs were still inside. The dogs were terrified and barking, Anthony claimed, and it was quite loud. The family was out of the house, so they called a buddy and obtained the home code.
They were able to summon two of the dogs out of the burning house as they unlocked the door. Despite this, one of the dogs, a German Shepherd puppy named Chase, was crated. Then, without thinking, one of the boys, Mario, dashed into the smoke-filled house and rescued the dog. Everything was filmed on the doorbell camera of the family.
According to the homeowner, Athena DiBenedetto, the kid was unfazed by the rising smoke and dashed inside to save the dog. She described it as “extremely emotional” because they were like her children. She became tearful as she considered what might have occurred if they hadn’t been present.
One of the dogs torched a wooden cutting board by turning on a burner. Thankfully, all of the dogs were now safe. Mario experienced the same situation a year ago when his uncle’s dogs perished in a fire. As a result, the child explained that it had occurred to his uncle and that he would not let it happen to his friend. These young men were true heroes. They saved the dogs and did a great job.
