Do you remember how you looked after your wife while she was pregnant, dads? You do, of course. You might recall those moments when you were the only one in charge of the house and all the tasks while running errands. While some spouses may argue they weren’t as fortunate, they can always point to this viral video of a golden retriever caring for his mate while she was in childbirth.
They were originally shown sleeping next to each other. The dog then dashed towards the AC switch and raised the thermostat as soon as the woman awoke. Isn’t it crazy? You have yet to see anything. Then, with his mouth, he grabs a little basin and trots to the kitchen. He slid the basin into the sink and grabbed for the faucet with his paw. He then marched happily to his comrade, satisfied with himself. He went to retrieve her leash when she finished her drink. Exercise is still necessary for a pregnant dog to stay in shape.
Instead of their owner walking them both to the park, the dog grabbed the leash and followed his companion. This freed up the daddy dog to run other errands. He went into the kitchen at this point in the day to assist his friend in preparing his dinner. Chicken, fish, shrimp, and a variety of veggies all sound delicious. Daddy dog aided his human in the cleaning process. He went so far as to take out the trash.
Is that something other wives can say about their husbands? Kidding. With all of his work, he may be ravenous, yet he lets his friend eat first. She is, after all, feeding their puppies. Then something happened when he invited her for a post-dinner run. His wife insisted on staying at home with him.
When their fur parents saw what was about to happen, they made a nest for her right away. What was once just the two of them became a loving family’s home. The puppies emerged from their mother one by one. Before leaving them to breastfeed on their mother, the owners properly cleaned them.
They were providing her easily digestible food the whole time to help her get through it. They had seven healthy puppies in the end. Their collars are all different colors, almost like a rainbow.
And with that, the daddy dog is back on the chores. This time, however, he wasn’t just looking after one dog. He’s keeping an eye on his friend and their children. We know they’ll be fine because of the dependability that this good boy has shown.
