Buster has always been a big fan of snow. Playing outside in the cold is one of his favorite things in the world, and he despises being told it’s time to go inside. Buster’s father, Michael Kapusty, told The Dodo, “Getting him inside late at night can be a real chore – he’d much prefer to lie on a snowbank.” “He’ll leap and dive in the snow like a dolphin in the water.”
After all, Buster is a husky, so he has a bit of a tenacious streak. He simply knows what he wants and sees no reason why he should have to compromise. When the first big snowfall of the season hit this year, Buster was overjoyed. He was ecstatic to be able to walk around and play in it, which is why he was taken aback when he saw his grandfather shoveling away his beautiful snow.
“This was his first snowfall of the season,” Kapusty noted, “and he was angry that we were taking it away from him.” “So he came over and sat in the middle,” the narrator continues. While the snow melted away around him, Buster defended his small mound, and when it came time for his grandfather to shovel that area away as well, he refused to move.
Kapusty remarked, “I knew this was going to be a classic Buster moment.” “He was told to move, but his look said otherwise. He waited until everything had faded around him and he realized he’d lost the war.” Buster soon gave up the fight and let his modest snow mound be shoveled away. He was enraged with everyone until he saw there was still plenty of snow outside, at which point he resumed his frolicking and playing.
