We’ve all met dogs who are interesting, entertaining, or simply hilarious. The reality shows that dogs have the ability to make us laugh. Do the dogs, on the other hand, have a sense of humour? Do they realise they’re being amusing? Are canines amused by things? Do dogs laugh, and if so, what causes them to do so?

Manuel Delgado went out for a bike ride in the countryside outside Madrid, Spain, when he came across a couple standing over a deceased dog. Delgado was told by the pair that the enormous dog was approaching them when he suddenly dropped on the ground and didn’t move. He was unresponsive when they tried to rouse him up.
Tizón, the dog, had a dog tag, but no one answered the phone when they called his owners. Delgado decided to phone the cops, but the response he received was not what he expected.
“It turns out that Tizón is well-known among the local cops.” “Nearly every day, someone calls them to say there’s a dog in this location that need help,” Delgado told the Dodo. “According to the cops, he’s just acting, and he does this to everyone who walks by in the hopes of being duped into caressing him or giving him food.”

Delgado wasn’t convinced by the cops’ explanation, but then he had the brilliant idea of pretending to ignore Tizón, and sure enough, the dog “sprang to life.”
Tizón is a shepherd dog who does the “playing dead” prank to attract attention on a daily basis. Delgado joked on Twitter about Tizón being the “Billy Elliot of the Sierra de Madrid,” saying, “He was told he had to be a pastor, but he wants to be an actress.”
Another couple recounted their identical experience with Tizón after seeing the post about the dog. In the summer, they ran upon Tizón, who persuaded them to give him two strawberry yogurts and some fruit.

Delgado believes Tizón’s method of attracting attention is unique, but he is encouraged by the number of complaints police receive about him, noting that if police are contacted so regularly, it implies people aren’t disregarding the sight of the dog.
