The Lion King, one of Disney’s most beloved films, has captured the hearts and imaginations of people all around the world. “It’s the circle of life,” the Lion King says, “and it propels us all through despair and hope, faith and love.” And it appears that it isn’t just people who enjoy the film.
Luna is a four-month-old puppy who adores Disney’s The Lion King. She is completely engrossed in the movie as she sits on the bed and watches it. She sits enthralled by what she sees on the screen, her gaze never straying from it.

Then, in the climax, when Simba learns of his father’s death, Mufasa, she begins to cry as the tiny cub tries to wake him up. She can’t sit still as her humans videotape her reaction to the movie because she’s so worried.
Luna, unable to turn away, continues to observe and appears to comprehend the gravity of Simba’s situation. She stands then sits, unable to hold herself, and continues to cry while she watches the show, clearly disturbed by what she sees.

The sweet puppy, who is possibly the most sensitive puppy we’ve ever seen, continues to watch the show. It’s as though she understands the movie’s plot and knows exactly what’s going on. Is it the characters’ body language? What about the music? Could she be sensing her owner’s feelings?
We’ll never be able to tell for sure. Luna, on the other hand, is clearly paying attention since she joins Simba in his father’s bed. She clearly feels sorry for Simba. Watching the puppy is as upsetting as watching the movie. “To see her crying at the TV was the greatest thing I believe I’ve ever seen,” her owner, Josh Meyers, said.
