Have you ever asked yourself, to save your puppy, how far would you go? Would you put your life on the line as this man did when a 350-pound bear reaches Buddy, his rescue dog?

Kaleb Bentham and his 90-pound pit bull Buddy were outside playing on You Bet Road. Bentham heard something strange, and when he investigated, he realised Buddy had run into the colossal bear.
He stated: “I heard a snarl and glanced down about to see the bear dragging him by his head with his head in his teeth,” Bentham explained. Benham was surprised by what he saw, so he acted quickly to try to save his pet dog: Bentham explained, “I just raced down there, plowed into the bear, tackled it, grabbed it by the throat, and started punching it in the face and eye until it let go.”

Bentham was afraid the bear would harm his dog, but after it let go, he said: “The first thing that sprang to me was that I was going to lose him.” Buddy was sent to Mother Lode Veterinary Hospital by Bentham. He informed the staff ahead of time, and they were prepared to rush Buddy into surgery as soon as they arrived. Buddy is alive thanks to staples, sutures, and tubes placed into his head to drain fluid.
“I just stood there and looked through the window,” Bentham added. Bentham is on high alert as Buddy recovers completely. The bear has visited his home three times, presumably in search of Buddy:

We believe that bear should reconsider his plans to return because Bentham will undoubtedly be keeping a careful eye on his best friend. Buddy survived the critical situation, and we wish him the best of luck in his rehabilitation. When Bentham saw his dog in jeopardy, he did his best to save his life. Such a uplifting story!
