Those people who have a good heart and are true animal lovers understand the benefits of making a long-term commitment to a dog. When things get difficult, a dog isn’t supposed to be left alone. It’s not a toy, for sure. It’s a commitment that entails caring for the animal until it passes away.
A portion of the population is unaware of the significance of this commitment. An elderly man in Italy has provided a fantastic example for them of how dogs should be loved and cared for.
Tonino Vitale was caught on camera walking his dog, which is quite typical of a dog owner. But there’s a catch. Dylan, a 13-year-old Labrador, is paralysed due to arthritis. Tonino continues to make an effort to walk his friend every day. It’s difficult, but love inspires you to go beyond your wildest dreams.
With his two front legs, Dylan can hardly move. His back legs are completely useless. Tonino, on the other hand, makes the dog feel at ease so they can go for a walk. “Dylan is like our child for me, for my wife, who is an exceptional woman who has grown to love him even more than I have.”
Dylan has been a member of Tonino’s family for the past 13 years. Tonino’s kids used to look after Dylan, but after they moved out, it was his obligation to look after him. So he took the dog for walks to give him a change of scenery.
On social media, a video of the loving owner caring for his dog went viral. Thousands of people applauded him for his lovely act. Is it too difficult to love these wordless companions? If you believe so, Tonino is here to tell you the true meaning of commitment to our loyal friends.
