Dad Comes Up With A Special Solution For His Rescue Dog

Posted on February 23, 2022 by admin

Today we will present you a true dog lover named Sean Farrell.  You’ll see how much he cares for his own dogs at home when you see what he’s done for them. Sgt. Buster, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, considered  Sean as foster father when they met. But after they clicked, he realised he had to keep the puppy as a permanent member of his pack.

Sean told InspireMore, “I’ve had him for just over two years.” “He didn’t have the best life before I met him, but that changed the day I met him. I was only supposed to foster him at first, but I fell in love with him and knew we were destined to be together.”

Unfortunately, like many rescues, Buster has developed a variety of phobias and fears during his previous life. Buster, in particular, dislikes men other than Sean, has trust issues, and his nervousness may be difficult to manage for both the dog and the family. Sean, on the other hand, refused to give up on him and would do everything in his power to make his new pet feel at ease.

Buster hid in Sean’s room at home, refusing to come out for anything but food. He needed a tiny, safe spot to retreat to because he was clearly afraid of his surroundings.

That’s when his father came up with a fantastic plan: he’d give Buster his own room. Sean explained, “The boudoir was an idea to offer Buster his own nice haven in the same room as me.” “To really show him that he can be safe around me while yet feeling safe in his tiny den.” He went in there pretty immediately after finishing it. He’s been sleeping and hanging out in his residence for a few weeks now.” Sean was willing to study carpentry for Buster despite his lack of experience. He did some research online, bought some supplies for $100, and got to work.

Sean kept his Facebook page updated while he was putting the place together (which is, of course, dedicated to his dogs Zook and Sgt. Buster). He even got hundreds of followers along the road, and people all over the world admired what he was ready to do for his fearful little dog! Sean wanted Buster’s room to mix in with the rest of the family’s decor because it would be part of the family living area.

Using only wood and ply board, he was able to make an attractive and comfy little home for his dog despite his lack of experience. To keep Buster amused, the doggy bedroom has a cooling fan, mood lighting, a digital photo frame, and a small window that allows him to keep an eye on what’s going on in the house.

Buster was ready to try out the bedroom even before Sean had finished it! Buster is truly a lucky dog; few people would adopt a rescue dog in that situation, let alone go above and beyond to make him feel at ease at home! More helpful and caring people like Sean are needed in the world. Buster’s life was permanently changed when he opened his heart and home to a pup in need. You did an excellent job!
