The reality has shown that giving a dog a second opportunity can have a lot of positive advantages for you. In fact, people tend to build an incredible bond with shelter dogs after they decide to rescue them. Shelter dogs seem to be so thankful to their rescuers. That’s what the following video is all about.
A muscular dystrophy patient in Arizona spends a lot of time at home and relies on his pets for company and affection. He was heartbroken and lonely after his nearly ten-year-old dog left him. His other elder dog has become unhappy as well. He reasoned that buying a younger dog would keep him and his dog company while also adding to the family.
That’s when he chose to adopt Peanut, a puppy who had been on the verge of being euthanized after spending 12 days at a shelter. She was quite frightened and afraid of everything when she initially arrived at their house. Peanut, on the other hand, was quickly settling into her new home and feeling much more at ease.
You can see how much Peanut adores her father in the video below. She’s completely covering him with kisses while sitting on his lap. He saved her from euthanasia and gave her a second chance at life, and she is eternally thankful! This is definitely a lovely moment.
