Man’s best friend has shown once again what dogs can do for us, this time to save a boy whose life was in critical situation. The boy was swimming in the sea off the coast of Port Noarlunga when he was washed away from the shore. He couldn’t swim back and felt weary immediately. He was in desperate need of a hero.
Max, a Staffordshire/Bulldog mix, was at the beach that day and was already wearing his life jacket when he saw what was going on. As a result, this brave hero dog jumped in and swam all the way out to assist!
Max eventually caught up with the boy, who grabbed the dog’s vest and was escorted back to solid ground. Max’s owner, Rob, was so engrossed in the moment that he forgot to ask the boy’s name, but he would love to hear from the family to find out how the child is doing today.
