Today, we will present you the story of Potate, or Tate as she was known. Tate was a stray puppy and she yearned for her own family. She eventually got one, and then on the other side of their fence, she discovered her absolute best buddy. Tate was brought home by Hailee Graham and her husband. Their next-door neighbour had adopted a dog at the same time as Tate, and he was around the same age as Tate. Vernon is his name. Despite the fact that the property boundaries were separated by a huge fence, the two canines were quite aware of each other. It didn’t matter that they were out of reach; something in their doggie hearts told them they were meant to be friends. Tate and Vernon started doing everything they could to get closer to one another.

“I go outdoors and see them constructing a tunnel between themselves. “We were unable to persuade them to quit,” Graham told The Dodo. “It was impossible to keep them apart.” They’d just continue to dig holes for each other.” Graham believed a weekly playdate would be an incredible way for Tate and Vernon to spend time together without the fence between them. However, playdates were insufficient; they desired to be together all of the time. Then Graham had a brilliant idea to end their estrangement completely. “Why not just build a door in the fence so they can play anytime they want and their humans don’t have to get involved?” I reasoned. Graham stated his opinion.

So that’s exactly what the owners of Tate and Vernon did. Graham’s spouse and Tate’s grandfather immediately got to work. The family built a door in the fence so the two dogs could come and go whenever they wished. Tate was clearly ecstatic. The doggy soulmates are now living the life of their dreams together. “They like spending time together!” Graham stated. “I’m not sure if they’re in love, but I’d like to believe they are.” While this arrangement may not be ideal for everyone, it is ideal for Tate and Vernon.
