When Giorgi Bereziani, a 62-year-old man from Tbilisi, Georgia, lost his beloved dog Jorge, he was devastated. Giorgi, who was upset, spent days putting up missing posters on the streets, but Jorge was never found.
After approximately three years without hearing from his dog, Giorgi received a call from opera house employees who claimed to have seen a dog that looked like Jorge outside the opera house. Giorgi drove straight to the building, clutching the fresh ray of optimism.
Giorgi notices a black and white dog sitting beside a tree in this video. The dog was wearing a yellow tag that indicated he had been vaccinated and released by local animal control officers. Giorgi says, “Jorge, is it you?” with bated breath, and the dog looks at him in amazement. After all, it’s Jorge! Jorge’s genuine delight and amazement are impossible to put into words.
You’ll be in tears when you watch Jorge go up to Giorgi and hug him, yelping wildly, relieved that his critical situation is over. What a heartfelt reunion!
