The following uplifting story is about a 9-year-old boy who uses up pocket money to feed homeless dogs. Ken has a soft spot in his heart for animals since he was a child. As a result, when he started school, he began feeding and petting neighbourhood stray animals. Little Ken quickly gave his pocket money to feed the stray animals. He would even smuggle food out of his house to feed the starving animals. Ken’s parents were wary of their son’s “shady” behaviour at first. However, as they became more aware of his noble cause, they chose to lend him their full support!
Ken became further enraged as he witnessed the unending misery of the homeless animals. Every time a street dog was put down due to common ailments like sores and mange, his heart would hurt. Instead of remaining a bystander, Ken decided to open his own animal shelter! Ken narrates in this video how he founded “The Happy Animals Club,” his shelter, from the ground up. Ken now feeds and cares for a large number of sick and malnourished animals. He’s even learning the fundamental medical skills needed to care for an animal. Ken is a true inspiration to all of us. He took more initiative to aid canines at such a young age than most individuals do in their lifetime.
